Its location was absolutely perfect, really close to sea and beach, the main road/beach, and nice restaurant with a good variety of interesting dishes.

Fantastic overall experience. Sensational breakfast with a wide range of delicious foods. A mini bar, an electronic key card, and a work desk available in the double room. Extremely great staffs, gave a few recommendations. Marvellous location for visiting eateries and bars. Very easy to get from Santos Dumont airport, just 15 km.

The location
The value for money is not too high. Large room good bad but poor furnished, courtains are old and ruined ... Given the location and the range of other hotels in the area it is pretty fair.

Its been a firm favourite of mine for more than 10 years during my business trips to Brazil, Hotel has undergone some excellent re-styling for both accommodition and Hotel lobby/restaurant-bar facilities. If you can get booked in the go for it.
Bath robes probably need changing out - A minor complaint only and should not be seen as something which ruins the day.

Pleasant staff, excellent location, comfortable common areas. Room was good, large, with king-size bed and patio. Buses from airport will drop guests outside hotel; buses or metro to Downtown can be caught a couple of blocks away.
Bathroom fixtures old.

Location
Price was very expensive given that the room size was quite small. There was also 1 occasion when both me and my husband were caught in an awkward situation. We asked 1 of the hotel staffs about the cost for a tour. The reception staff quoted us some figure but when we talked to other staff outside, this staff quoted a much cheaper price and it's a taxi tour. It sounded appealing to us, as instead of taking a bus tour which not just more expensive and we had to mix with a bigger tour group,we could simply opt for a dedicated taxi just for 2 of us,and with lower price. So we decided to cancel the deal earlier with the reception staff, which in turn asked us if another offer has made us changed our mind. We said yes, we decided to go just by a taxi tour. Then we noticed he had some kind of an argument with the outside hotel staff who promoted the taxi tour to us earlier. Then the next minute, the outside hotel staff came to us again apologizing and explaining that the taxi tour actually cost even more higher as it will also include some tax charges compared to if we were to go with a bus tour. It occurred to us that the outside hotel staff was actually trying to play us,it looked some kind of a scam. Lastly we decided to settle with the bus tour which was of course safer.

The location and the breakfast were good.
The day staff very unhelpful, as if they were doing one a favor by answering questions. The room looked like it had not been painted in 10 yrs. The door to the bathroom was broken. The glass in the one window was cracked. Certainly not worth the Rs290 they charge per night.

would definitely go again
Perfect location right in front of Copacabana Beach. Enjoyed fine views from the room. The space was comfortable with air conditioning, a minibar, and a tv. Breakfast had fresh pastries and fruit. Super nice team, providing beach chairs and sun loungers to enjoy the ocean. Great stay overall!

The food was outstanding, and the room was modern. Had GOOD climate control, a safe box and television. Stunning location in a modern area short walk to restaurants behind and a nice beachfront and the most visited beach of the city.
